Sorry hadn't been om here in a while , had a hard time finding a used knuckle in the junkyards and didn't feel like spending 100+ to experiment also the part was going to use was on back order and just became available so I might give it a shot again. Just the fact that the car is also my DD is a bit of a pain.

It's a shame we can't figure this out. (No fault of yours Zenpato)
My knuckle is loud as hell now!
But I've alreayd been through 2 of these, and I'm not spending that kind of money for a little stupid ball joint. It sucks that Nissan makes the part so damn expensive to replace. It's such a waste of a perfectly good aluminum part. I have 2 perfectly good steering knuckles with just a bad ball joint.
Maybe I should just go ahead and buy a 300ZX Ball joint and see if it works in one of them.

Just found this....

Not sure if it's the same thing, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper - and you get 2 sets of ball joints.
You'd just need to buy the Nissan ball joint seats (which are only like 2 bucks anyway.)
Anyway, waiting to hear back from Z1 who's gonna look into it for me.

It's either that, or I'm gonna just bite the bullet and get the Moonface adjusters. They're practically as expensive as buying 2 new complete knuckles, BUT considering I've been through 2 already, I'm at the stage we're I think I'd rather upgrade the ball joint which is apparently too weak for my bad roads and big wheels.

Whiteline visited here with us here yesterday - that is one of the products they are going to look into doing for next year for this platform, but it would be a ways off as it's not even on the list yet for R&D

If you need the moonface ones let me know, I think we still have a couple sets in stock

always wondered why the ball joint was soo $$$, duh its because you have to get the entire spindle assembly

my boot is torn as well.

anyone try those boots linked above? for a temp fix, i'm planning repacking and covering the boot in adhesive silicon.

There is really no way to misunderstand:

2 FRONT Lower Ball Joint SET For INFINITI G35 03-07

and...

Those Front Lower Ball joint set will fit
INFINITI G35 03-07

You'd only be asking the obvious. If they don't work, it's his problem.
