Requesting Pics - Coilovers Installation
I'm in the process of installing my coilovers right now. I needed some quick reference pics of the rear OEM coilovers sitting inside the OEM location. I'm not seeing how the spring mount is supposed to be positioned. Do we remove the upper spring mount??
Searching for pics and all I'm finding are spring installs...
Thanks!

Ah thats perfect, thanks! Unfortunately, mine did not come with those mounts so I had to fabricate one using the the OEM spring mount. I think it'll work well but wondering if there are others out there would had to custom make a spring mount for the rear coilovers??

H&R coilovers. I see that Stance/BC uses OEM, and as shown above, Greddy provides their own. But H&R doesn't provide anything. The top adjustment perch is solid so the OEM spring mount cannot be used.
So what I've done is cut the spring mount (as if doing the spring mount mod) and used the cut piece. Problem is, nothing is really holding this in place other than the pressure of the springs. I'm looking for something like this greddy kit where the mount has a small lip to hold the coilovers in place.
Are there any other coilovers out there that do not reuse the OEM spring mount?

So did you use anything inbetween the aluminum plate and vehicle? or is it sitting metal against metal? I'm assuming some type of rubber padding is needed or else it'll get noisy, possibly rust too??
