Default Clunking noise and squeaks after Tein S-techs install

Ive been searching awhile and there are no clear answers for me yet.. After the install ive been having bad clunking noises from the front end and also squeaking. My main concern are the clunks... Could it be from bottoming out on my bump stops? I have no aftermarket sway bars also.

sry dude. There was a time when people would answer this question immediately. It's a simple one that has been asked and answered a few times...but alas....Everyone is gone. You are relegated to using the search function but the answer should still just pop right up. Let me know if it doesn't. I'll see what I can do

Yea I figured its been asked alot, but what I read is take it to the dealership... I dont want them to void my warranty or is this a risk that I just may have to take? A few people tell me to just cut down my bump stops but Im afraid that may not work. Its always when I go over a bump.

a clunking noise? I was reading a little while back and someone had suggested to check endlinks on your sway bars for they may be cracked/broken. Just a thought, not saying this is the solution. did you make sure to keep the rubber piece (don't know what it's called) from your old springs. The crap you have to peel off the bottom/top of the spring and place onto the new ones to avoid any clunking/metal noises? Someone helped me with my install and told me to do that. sorry I couldn't be of more help

I didnt take off the rubber/plastic thing off mine(as per manuf. instructions)... it could be the sways, but also make sure everything is torqued down to specs(top nut on the actual strut, nuts in engine bay, and anything you loosened to take off the strut)...

+1, go through and make sure anything you may have loosened gets put back together and tightened correctly.

I think I saw similar problem on here before ..

someone didn't tighten up the nuts on the top of the strut enough ..

I think mine are down about 3 or 4 threads .. check that and if there far enough hit them with the impact a little

other than that .. check for loose nuts and bolts

I put my S-Techs on and they've been perfect
