Default replace or not?

gonna install some tanabe gf springs this weekend.

i got 04 oem struts on my car right now with about 45k miles.

so they pretty old lol.

should i replace the struts or not?

if i do replace i will be replacing with tokito hp blues

i dont track or anything, main purpose is to lower car. im sure handleing will be better then what it is right now with the springs

Yes. OEM dampers are good for 60,000 mile plus. But you have to take the damper out of the spring in front. Little point in removing and reinstalling the old damper.

BTW you might leave the rear dampers alone.

You might as well change them because once you put the springs in the oem struts are gonna go in a matter of time.
