maybe see if you could get your rotors turned, napa does em for $12 bucks each. I got rear pads off craigslist for free and you could install em yourself.

This is as cheap as they come:

Install them yourself if you are the slightest bit mechanically inclined, Brembo's are dead simple to install new pads/rotors.

I began a R1 Concepts thread some time ago. Very informative.

How old is the car/rotors, years/miles? Seems like stealerships often want to put on new rotors at every brake change. A bit pricey for OEM Brembo rotors at several hundred apiece! They should be replaced when too thin (70k-100k Daily driver miles sound about right? Actual Minimum Width Specs?), cracked, or warped beyond turning. Should be about $50 for corner auto parts store for complete set of rear brakes, and $50 or so per no-name rotors.

First you my want to look into BRAKES, not breaks. Second like mentioned, dealer and others want to replace the rotors and make as much off you as possible. Chances are you can just get pads, and NO rotors do not need to be turned every time the pads are swapped.
