Well I just got a set of Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers, and i need help adjusting the ride height.

Here's a pic:

I'm trying to adjust the FRONT coilovers (the one's on the right in the pic above ^)...

I've been told several different things....So HOW do I lower the ride height, without messing with the dampening??

loosen lowest locker then rotate entire shaft until desired height.
Helps if you remove bottom bolt when adjusting height.

Yes, you need to remove the bolt at that lug end of the coilovers for both front and back - from the:

FRONT:
Lower control arm (translink) and spin the entire lower coilover body.
REAR:
Rear knuckle and spin the entire lower coilover body.

I have found it best to remove the cotter pin and nut from the spindle/knuckle to the upper control arm and have someone push down on the entire spindle/knuckle assembly while you turn the lower shock body when the buddy club lower lug is free from the lower control arm............when done, then reattach.

thats two bolts total you remove....

get a flat head screw driver and put it in the groove........then hit it with a rubber mallet and pry the lock ring free..

Don't these need the arm conversion that elminates the OEM spring cup?

Any how, just as Bikinilust said, adjust the ride height with lower cups only, the spring adjustments work with the weighting or preloading of the spring. Its best to leave these where the manufactuer suggests until the car is balanced (corner balancing).

LMAO thanks for all the response guys. Me and Superblack lowered this thing by lowering the two top collars all the way down. That lowered it but it also messed with the preload. Shows how much me and superblack knows about suspension lol.

Me and Pikes will both be readjusting our suspension, both of ours seized including my stance.

Yes, these coilovers eliminate the need for a rear spring in the rear spring bucket location, thus allowing you to remove the crappy SPC toe bolts for toe degree's of adjustment and you can replace with an adjustable toe arm......shown in this first pic is the battle version toe arms....

I also found it easier to adjust the height when the lower locker, for the spring mount, is loosened.

Makes sense to disengage the A Arm. Itll allow more play so one can easily rotate the lower portion of the coilover. Wish I had thought of that earlier

OK guys...as Juan (JPE22) said....thanks for all the responses.

His Stance and my BuddyClub's both seized. So yesterday I went over to his place and we got both of our's done. I had to take off the front coilovers, and use a clamp to hold the bottom of the suspension in place. We FINALLY broke the locking nut loose, and everything went well/easy from there. Got the front lowered, and even took the rear coilovers off and broke those locking nuts loose also. Juan said there is a way to lower the rear more by REMOVING the locking nut, since it is not needed when the coilover is maxed out. Hopefully I can get some pics today!!
