Sorry for all the confusion. Yes I was in WA in Tacoma Fort Lewis. Just moved to SoCal for new duty assignment.

Shop and search around, but I still say the StopTechs pads are a much better buy over the HPS. The only reason I would ever buy the HPS is if I had a show car that only saw the roads to go to and from a meet/show.

The posi-quiets are acceptable if you want lower dust levels and if you can find the Akebono ProACT for the brembos they are great too. Rotor wise, I prefer slotted or plain, but in the end its your money and your decision so get which ever rotor face you want. You'll only notice the difference in heavy rain, really.

After tons of asking questions here and elsewhere, I ended up buying premium centric rotors (drilled and slotted) and the StopTech Pads. I'll live with noise and dust over sub OEM performance or pads that cannot be tracked at all. There were a lot of helpful people here and at places that post and sponsor here.

The new rotors and pads were installed today and I'll pick up the car later today. I'm curious to see how it is.

My first impression isn't overwhelming. The old (OEM I assume) brakes had better bite. But, I haven't bedded these yet. Tonight. I hope that makes a big difference.

No noise at all though.
The box for the pad said they didn't require any break in period, but I'm understanding it's the rotors that need to be bedded.

I have had Stop Tech pads on my factory Brembo brakes for over a year now including 3 HPDE track days at Nashville. They worked flawless for me during all 3 HPDE events, no fade (using Castrol SRF fluid as well with SS lines), and had more bite than my Dunlop Star Spec tires could handle. On the street, the initial bite is less than the OEM Brembo pads but nothing I can't live with. Dust has not been a problem for me, less than the OEM pads. The only time I hear noise from them is the few days following one of the HPDE events and they will screech a few times when cold, especially backing out of my driveway after the car has been sitting. A few drives after the HPDE and this noise dissipates and is not heard anymore. I have been very happy with these brakes, and in my opinion you can not beat them for the price.
