Default Those of you who have Tein Flex....can i ask a Question?

It's strange that i can still go lower with my tein flex on the rear left side .but there's no more space to go lower on the rear right side...

The car is now sitting evenly.....i don't understand why is that...

Are they supposed to be of the same adjustability for both left and right side?

and my back is definitely not low enough ..still having two finger gaps..

any ideas of how i can get my ride lowered a bit more?

thanks for the input.

I have the Flex, and I know what you are talking about. The rears can't be lowered that much. And on one of my rears, it is totally at the bottom of adjustment, but the other side still has some left. Ride height is even on both sides, but one side's adjustment is all the way down.

I think the only way to lower the rears more is to perform "the springmount mod", and then adjusting from there. I will do this eventually, but just don't want it bad enough I guess.

i Got the reply from TEIN USA

We apologize for the delayed response. The most common reason for this on
shock type coilover is preload on the bushing. The preload can be set by
raising the vehicle and loosening the bolt going through the lower bracket
on the rear damper. While loose, add load by putting a jack under rear hub
or arm and then tightening the bolt. If this does not correct the ride
height issue, we would request pictures of the rear assembly and would like
to know date of purchase. If you have any further questions, please feel
free to ask.

I'll have to keep an eye on your outcome. I would just take a look at mine, but the rain doesn't seem to stop around here.

So from Tein's response, the shocks do not come ready to install from the factory? I don't remember seeing anything in the manual about this. It was a long time ago though.
