So I found a little bit of time and installed my rear eibach spring. I said spring because I installed one and then noticed the car did not sit any lower. I followed the DIY install and did everything as described. Also, this is not the first car I did an install on, but it is the first 350z.
The rear driver side is installed on a 265-35-18 and it is sitting on flat ground (garage floor). It measures 27 1/4 inches from the ground to the lip of the rear fender. The pass side which is still factory on a 245-45-18 is reading an even 27 inches off the ground to the same point.
Question- Do rear Eibach springs install upside down in the way that the letters are upside down which are written on the spring coils??? Or do they install where you can read the part number and Eibach logo normally when looking at it? Also, I did not trim the strut ruber on top that everyone seems to mod to get the car even lower. My Eibachs are 6364.002 in the rear.

For some reason I think I read somewhere a long time ago that the 350z rear eibach spring needs to be installed to where the letters are upside down... I def. installed the rear spring in the rear placement.

fail for judging results with 1) not letting the springs settle, 2) only one spring installed 3) doing both (1) and (2) after having claimed to have done a few other spring installs.
cmon man, you should realize that dude. I installed the same eibach springs and have the exact results I was expecting from them.
the instructions should tell you which way the springs should be installed. they can be downloaded from eibach's website if you don't have a hardcopy.

Ohh I figured they need time to settle. I also thought they would show a little bit of a drop over factory, not a increase in height. And since its independent rear susp. i didnt think the other side not being installed would effect it.
This doesnt make any sense you installed 1 spring didnt notice a drop then left it alone, then wrote a thread about it. How could you possibly notice a drop if the other springs are at stock height

Pretty sure with progressive springs (eibachs are progressive) you install with the coils that r closer together towards the top. I think that should make the writing normal and upright also.
