Default hotchkis shaft collar?

so i heard there is a fix for the sway bar shifting on hard turns.

can anyone help? or help me find a post?

Is yours an older bar with no collars?

no has the collars but still some play. can hear the bar shift on hard turns.

might want to try to tighten them back up, my nuts came loose after a few track days and it started to make noise on hard turns, just tightened them back up and cars quiet again.

If I remember correctly, there is a little slop in the two mounting brackets, you need to force them outward against the collars as you tighten down on the bolts to they keep a tight fit against the collars.

I got to get under there again i guess. I bought them used and had to reuse the front oem brackets. Might be the cause??

You can hear the bar shift ? Doubt it, and no it doesn't affect performance, well maybe at an F1 level, but not at the level any of us can feel or drive at.

It doesn't come with front brackets, you have to reuse the OEM brackets.

Oh ic. So there is some play on the brackets and you can push them inward towards the collar? Seems like they are right in place. Will give it a try
