Default 6 pistons or 4 pistons bbk for front?

Ok, I'm debating whether I should go with Stoptech 6pot front/ 4pot rear or go with 4pot front and rear.

F: 6-piston ST60 Red calipers, 355x32mm - 83.657.6700.71
R: 4-piston ST45 red calipers, 355x28mm - 83.657.0047.71

or

F: 4-piston ST40 Red calipers, 355x32mm - 83.657.4700.71
R: 4-piston ST45 red calipers, 355x28mm - 83.657.0047.71

Purpose:
*Mostly street driving
*Will eventually going FI in near future

***The price difference is about $200-300 between 6-pot vs 4-pot***

Any negative impact if I run 6/4 vs 4/4?
Which one would be a better choice?

Thanks.

Heavier??? Honestly unless your going to the track, its overkill. 4 would be good imo. 6 if you want for the looks, and hopefully track time.

I would do 355 6 pot front and 332 4 pod rear if tracking, and just 4 pots front and rear with the same rotor combo if you just want looks.

I would do 6 pot in the front and drums in the back.

I'm leaning towards 4/4 for more pad and rotor selections. But part of me want 6/4 so that later down the road I won't regret.

go 6/4 overkill it. Do it right the first time then you never have to upgrade. and you will have no regrets.

the 6 will not stop any better than the 4 - the pad life will be better though

it makes no difference how much horsepower the car has - your brakes don't know how much power the car has, nor do they care

If you are already thinking that, then go 6/4. I did

Brakes don't care how much HP a car has? A 300hp Z going down a 1/2 mi straight will certainly not be going as fast as a 600hp Z at the end of that same straight.

All you need is the Stoptech 355mm 4/2. I have a 525whp Z with r compound tires and I drive it at Sebring and I have never ran out of brakes with that combo along with MOTUL RBF 600 brake fluid. If you want to be a baller get what you want. All you need is the 4/2.

6/4 is overkill. But if you have the moneyz and want the looks, go for it!

I went with the 4/2 and i couldn't be happier. Any more and i would just be adding weight for no reason.
Also remember that the 4/2 setup has a better brake balance than a 4/4. If your adament about 4 in the rear, then i would go with a 6 up front, but otherwise 4/2.
