Default Lowered, now rubbing

I guess i should roll the fenders, now question is, how safe is it that the paint wont crack (obviously i wont do it myself) and what will happen if rubbing continues if i dont roll the fenders?

Specs: Axis Hiros 9.5 in rear, 285 bfg kdw.
This is after 1 day of rubbing..

this was me after getting my coilovers...



thats melted rubber splattered on the car, you can no longer read the tires sidewall. rolled my fenders myself, rented an eastwood roller and had a freind use a heat gun on the paint while i rolled and didnt damage the paint at all

How low are you?
What are your offset?

Fender roll should fix your problem... if it doesn't, either: dial in more negative camber or do a fender pull but fender pull are for the hellaflush guys who's running 10.5 or 11's in the back (you're 1 inch short) with 0 or negative offset.

There is a possible chance your paint will crack... just make sure they use a heat gun to soften up the paint, allowing it to bend with the roll.

is there anyway at all to roll fenders without paint damage?

Rolling the fenders is common. Some members have had good luck and some not. Ask for a shop recommendation in your regional forum. No guarantees.

I rolled mine with a baseball bat and a heatgun.

Worked out great. Though I don't know how extreme you need it.

If you don't need a lot of roll, you may look into it.

Take off the spacers until you get your fenders rolled.

Without the spacers, the wheels/tires will probably rub on the inside.

Please point out the parts in the underside view that will benefit from dragging on stuff.

I had 18x9.5+45 w/ 275/40 tire and no spacer and didn't rub on the inside. What are your offsets?

I just recently got my fenders rolled. Took the guy 2hrs, but no cracks even on a section where I had a massive dent that got repaired. Just take your time and you should be fine.

you wont even have to go that aggressive on the roll from what I can tell on that pic..+1 on taking off spacers until you get them rolled..

2 hours! Jeez thats a long time... The person who rolled my fenders did it in about half an hour with no cracks or anything... (maybe it was because you had the dent?)

Rolled mine with a help of a friend it took about 2 hours. If ur going to do it yourself for the very first time no need to rush. But I guarantee u the 2nd wheel will be so much faster.
