Default Brake Light Issues

Hey I got a question, I used the search engine and tried brake light, brake etc, and not really what im looking for, although I am terrible on searching in this forum. When i accelerate with TCS off, I have a 6speed and the brake light comes on when i accelerate from 0 to 5500rpms. As soon as it hits 5500rpms it kicks on, but if im already moving like a 45mph roll off and I do it the light never comes on? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Then it does not go off, until I come to a complete stop and light my emergency brake up, and then release it.

You might also check your brake pads. When they become worn, the fluid in the master cylinder gets lower.

I was thinking it was fluid, I was going to check today, I pray its not the pads because the Pads have 8k miles on them

Had you read your owners manual you would have discovered that the reason that light comes on is "low brake fluid".

When you accelerated, the fluid sloshed to the back of the reservoir. That causes the float to drop and indicate that the brake fluid is low.
