Default Brake Noise

I have a 2007 roadster with appx 27,000 miles. I have started to hear a rubbing and slight grinding noise when I apply the brakes. Does not seem too bad when it is cold. As it warms up it becomes more noticeable Dealer states pads are ok. Any idea's?

Check the pad thickness yourself on all four wheels. I wouldn't put it past a Dealer to let you gouge your rotors so they can sell those on top of brake job. Just need a flashlight to check. Should be at least 1/8" although that is really late or see if the wear notch is gone. If that looks okay, then jack up each wheel, spin it, and listen (pad drag, pad retention spring slipped out of place,etc.). You'll need to put the car in neutral w/ no parking brake for the rear wheels BUT make sure opposite wheel(s) is chocked first so it doesn't roll off the jack. Also, pull/shake on the tire firmly to see if there is any play (bearing, bushing, loose suspension issue) That's the easy stuff to start with.
