LOL - I had the same experience with my car. It depends on the surface your on - if the car is not on a level surface, there will be differences in wheel gap. You said you drove to a shop and it was level. Was this an auto shop? I took my car to my friend's shop whose floor is completely level, and the gap was equal on all four corners. he proved this to me by taking a 3 ft level and placing it on the floor in different locations and the level bubble was always in the middle. I tried this in my garage and noticed my floor droops to the left so my car always looks slightly higher on the right side than the left. So there's my two cents worth...........

How much gas, and always do suspension checks on a full tank. Our saddle tanks don't always sit level.

That's a good point but I've had this set up now for about 10 months and this would be the first time I've noticed this. Call me crazy but I do a walk around everyday 0_o

There's grooves in the bottom "cup" and if the spring is not sitting in the groove correct, it may ride slightly higher. just check to see that the springs are sitting in the lower cup like thingy right.

1 inch difference seem significant. Since the rears are pretty easy, what I would do is take them out and redo the install. Maybe you would find something.

anybody have this setup? If so what is th gap between wheel well and tire. I always though it was odd that the height wasnt any different from stock. Maybe the
install wasn't done right and by some chance the one popped into place? 0_o
