Default SPL Pro V3 camber arms

Is anyone running these arms since their recent release? I've searched and came up with threads in regards on the V2s, their squeaking noise, and that SPL was offering a V3 upgrade for owners of the V2s, but not so much on the new V3s. The one thread I found had Kuah from SPL talking about the new V3s using improved bearings and aren't prone to squeaks when exposed to wet conditions.

Reason I ask is because I'm looking to get the front camber arms for my G35 coupe, and I'm debating if it's worth the extra $200 over the SPC kit to get the SPL Pro V3 on a daily driven car that'll see spirited driving and occasional hill country runs when I'm in SPL's neck of the woods.

Thanks in advance guys.

The SPC arms will hit the shock tower. It's a very bad design unit.

How long have you been running yours?

I heard about that, but no one's really mentioned how low they were when it happens because for a while, I'll just be running on G35 Eibach Pro-kit springs until I can get some coilovers and the camber arms now is just preventive maintenance since after an alignment, my front passenger side is still a bit out even at stock height.

I ordered mine beginning of the month and got them the 18th I think it was. So far no complaints. I have the camber arms and eccentric lock out kit. Ill be gettting the rest of their parts at a later date.

I was told I'd get the v3 upgrade but no peep so far from SPL. My driver's side V2 clicks like crazy on hard mountain runs. Hopefully they'll ramp production up and I'll see a replacement soon.

Good time to revive an old thread. Now that the SPL V3 A-arms with the upgraded bearing are out for a while and members have put on more miles are you guys getting noise from the a-arm ball joint?

On the SPC, how low can you go before you starting hitting the strut tower? Also, is this with SPC's latest design?

As mentioned before, they will make some noise. Some spray lube (Teflon, not lithium) from time to time will help. I've had mine for a year, and I only spray them twice a year (not my DD), and the noise is not all that noticeable.

I also believe that the SPC's will go pretty low. For the money go Kinetix

edit: Actually only get the SPL's if you really need them. Kinetix, Cusco, SPC are really your best bet, and still get the function over form that most people missout on trying to save a buck

My friend has those arms and they are really nice. He hasn't mentioned anything about noise or any other issues.

I've had the V1, V2, and V3. Been running the V3 since it was released. (Over a year or two) I have not had any noise at all. I'm glad they fixed that horrible noise. I only wish they would allow for more adjustment in the positive direction. (My car is really low)

I have kinetix front A arms. They work great for me and the price was great too! everyone complains that they squeak but you just need to add extra lube before installing them. I love mine and glad I payed $400 less than the SPL's.

I have the 07 Z with Skunk2 lower springs. You think I'll be okay with the SPC kits? I afraid I'll have some fitment issues?!

Just get the Kinetix and save the money. Spray some white lithium grease on the ball stud and bushings and you'll be good to go.
