Here is the picture of what I am talking about. If anyone has any tips or tricks to remove this without bending that piece.
I use this lil guy and long 12mm socket..comes out in seconds..

The powder coating was just under 200... Replaced all the seals and boots after I did the powder coating. The calipers were from an 04 G, and I just decided to replace them all..

Update:

So you know those details that you sometimes overlook because you are really excited about the product. Yea that happened to me. The guy I bought the calipers from said they were from an 04 G and it was the entire set.

After getting the rears installed with no issues, I started on the front. Got the front passenger side installed with no issues. When I went to go put the front driver side on I had to step back and think about this for on second.

The guy that sent me the calipers sent me two(2) front passenger calipers. The bleeder valves are on the bottom.. I have a couple of ideas on what could be done.

I can either:

1) Try to bleed that caliper as best I can by moving it so the bleeders are right side up.

2) Take it to a machine shop and see if they can drill out a hole where the bleeder valve is supposed to be. Might be an option only depends on how the caliper is built.
***Does anyone have a diagram of the caliper to see if the air channels inside run to this part so I can tell if this is even possible.

3) Go by a front driver side caliper and redo the whole process over by rebuilding and powder coating. Want to try to avoid this because it is expensive

**Unless someone on here is willing to trade a rebuilt Blue front passenger caliper for a driver side one...

Any other ideas will be much appreciated..

PS.. I feel like such an idiot for not realizing it earlier.

Let's get the Z back on the road for now... option 1. It's not that bad... only two bolts for the caliper. Might be a pain to add that step for the future if you need to do flushes, but if you're not tracking you won't be flushing that often.... Sorry OP..

Seems like this guy is holding what you need, but charging an arm for it..

Thanks,

I emailed the shop that I bought them from.

Apparently he had two sets of brembo's for sale and the guy who bought the other set was given two of the drivers side calipers. So the the shop is trying to get ahold of the guy to see if he can send him the caliper back, and then send to me.

If he doesn't then I will look at buying that one on ebay..

We did the flush again with the caliper right side up and it seemed alot better. I will do another one tomorrow on the whole car to see if it is better.

I will eventually be tracking so flushing the system will be happening pretty often.

Still does anyone have a diagram of the internals or know if the fluid channel runs to the other side of the back caliper??

are the pistons the same size? If not, then you will not want to use that passenger side caliper on the drivers side.

Wow... too bad you didn't powdercoat them the same color so that you could just cross-ship and be done.
