Default Creaking Supspension

Just this week my car started ckeaking on acceleration, then it started creeking during turns and now during any type of suspension movement. I have tried WD40 on all of the rear bushings and all the suspension parts I could get to without taking the tires and other things off and it didn't seem to do anything for me. Does anyone have any tips to fixing this without blowing alot of money on new parts?

Water Dispersment formula figured out on the 40's try is not a lube. I would try grease the sway bar bushings, but in actuality it is probably your end links going bad. End links are cheap.

Do need more info about your car , year and miles is a great place to start.

2004 w/65,000 miles..... at first it sounded like it was in the back and then it started getting worse and the sound was coming mostly from the front.... when I press down on the car over the wheels you can hear the creaking. Do you think it could also be the struts going bad?

First thing i would actually check is the front LCA bushings, search this forum a little for pics of blown LCA bushing to compair against yours.

I just read some stuff about the LCA Bushings and people were saying it makes more of a clicking sound when they are blown or going bad.

Pretty sure it's bad springs, 2 of the cars I used to own did the exact same thing, sounded like i was driving a mattress around. Replaced the springs and it was gone.

Mine did a few different things, it only takes 5 minutes per side to check. Just check them out, simple and easy, them more to the next possible cause.

probably the best way to do it is just take it apart piece by piece til i find the problem.

-I know it is not the springs because I have never heard or springs being the cause for the creaking sound.

P.S. it creaks when i'm parked and just turn the wheel side to side, so possibly tie rod ends????

LCA bushings first, next look at compression arm bushing, also the LCA moved when you turn the wheel stationary, that means the swaybar endlinks move, they can also be the problem.

the only spray you want to use is graphite spray. its watery, and will quiet anything down fast.. fairly non greasy too.

+1 on the BAD SPRINGS.. more like the mouting points were squeaking.. puh-retty common, just wait until you get coilovers.

I searched for a suspension squeak for 6 months. Turned out to be a broken exhaust support bracket. Good luck.

So i figured it out last weekend...... apparantly the steel frame was bent towards the alluminum lca at the mounting point and was wearing on it and caused the creaking

- i think it was bent due to trying to avoid monster speedbumps

Takes a lot harder hit than a speedbump top do that. Please take a pic and post it, i have seen it done before.

Last car i saw that on was a curb encounter. My car has it slightly tweeked from running off the track a coulple weeks ago and running thru the rocks.
