Question Changed Rear Brake Pads now vibration

1 week ago i changed out my rear brake pads, i did'nt resurface the rotor because it was smooth as glass. Car has 20k on it. Now when im on the highway i get pulsating when slowing down from 60mph. Front rotors and pads were already replaced at 10k . Rotors had grooves all over it .

I never had this vibration before the pad changing the pads any ideas?? . Could this be because i did'nt resurface the rotor? Car stops on a dime and no squeaking or anything.. Air pressure fine.. Unless now my front rotors are warped coincidentally .

Did you remove the rotors when you were changing the pads? Maybe some debris got behind them when you were working. They should also have been replaced in their original position on the hub, not rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.

Pedal pulsation is usually caused by excessive runout, No amount of bedding is going to fix that.

I did not remove the rotors when i changed the pads, wiped clean the rotors before putting on the pads. So what would be the solution now new rear Rotors and pads? I hate this resurfacing rotors crap i did this on my previous vehicle and only lasted couple months best.

I never did the bedding process for my front rotors dealer said just install and drive easy for first 200 miles . Never had a problem either. Where i live its impossible to do this process anyways po-po would be on my ***..
I always thought vibration issues was associated with only the front brakes not rear as well?

I would try resurfacing the rotors first... I had some vibration at one point and that cleared it up.

I agree with trying to resurface the rotors and go from there, what type or pads are you running in the rears?

OEM Pads + rotors. So can you get vibrations from the rear brakes if there are pad deposits? Did some research on the net and found nothing concrete. From everything im reading only Front Rotors causes vibrations not rear

So resurface rear rotors and put new pads on my first option then? Leave the Fronts alone for now.

I would put the same pads back on, and re-surface and see what happens then

Wait. Just do one thing at a time, so you'll know what the problem really is.

In this case, just put the original pads back on, and see if the vibration goes away. If you've still got the vibration, then you must have done something to cause it while you were working on the car. If the vibration goes away, it's the new pads or the way they interact with the rotors.

Save resurfacing the rotors until you eliminate the easy stuff.

What kind of pads did you install?
