Default Sound from passenger side front suspension

I`m having a very strange problem with my 350z, when i go over bumps, large speed bumps etc, I can hear a odd sound coming from my passenger front suspension side. I`m totally clueless what this could be...

Does anyone have any ideals that could give me a point to start from? Or they've experienced this same problem...

Thanks much appreciated!

Totally.

No clue.
What do you consider an odd sound?

I personally think when i slap the fat over my belly button, the clapping sound is pretty odd, although i doubt this is your issue.

But then again, i may be wrong..

Ill let you try this again w a bit more detail this time, sir.

It's almost a metal on metal sound... It's extremely hard to describe. It only happens going over bumps.

Sorry I'm completely lost.

I count eleven places per side that could potentially make metal-to-metal rubbing sounds when going over big bumps. You're just going to have to get under there and look at all the joints to find out which one has worn out or been damaged.

From what I've seen on this forum, the most likely culprit is the lower control arm (mentioned above) or the compression rod.

To the OP, if you have a hard time trying to figure out what the problem is take your car to Jurie and Sean at Monkeynutz Racing in Burnaby. They're good peeps with lots of Z experience. Racing Greed in Coquitlam is good too and they work with MonkeyNutz on lots of projects. I'm currently in Richmond so I can lend you a hand this weekend if you want. PM me.
