Default Will This Even Work?????

I'm Thinking to be a bit creative.

On my Grand Touring, can I move my front brakes (2 pistons Brembo) to the rear and purchase 3 piston brakes for the Front.

I don't see why not but thought I should ask first.........

Thanks
Ron

there is no such thing as a 3 piston brake to my knowledge

can you? sure - if you redesign yourself a new caliper bracket, and pay someone to machine it for you (about $1000 for a one off, give or take). Then redo the master cylinder to deal with the weird bias you'll now have. By the time it's all said and done, the most you will be able to say is you've got something different (nothing else, just different)

far easier to select one of the several properly engineered big brake kits out there...they've done all the design and engineering work already, making them bolt on affairs without any mess (just cost)

Your front calipers are 4 piston. More rear bias is WIN.

outside the box engineering needs more common sense at times.

youre better off with a big brake kit. however, what is your purpose for swapping? the factory brembo is pretty usable as it is.

What I meant is move my 4 piston calipers to the rear and purchase 6 pistions for the front.

How about you sell fronts, then buy bbk? If you have brembos... the net upgrade price isn't much at all.
