Default 1 bolt away from a freshly dropped z :(

I have given up for the night with just 1 bolt to go before I put the wheel back on and head to the allignment shop. The swaybar endlink bolt will just spin. Am i missing something. The left front just unscrewed and screwed back on.. Idk if I have messed something up or if there is a nut i have missed. Can someone help me out here.

It is the middle bolt.

probably busted it inside on the other end. Fortunately, a new one is like $9. When I dropped mine, I got frustrated and used a hammer to get it out...killing the threads. it won't kill you to drive it for now, just don't drive super aggresive.

Go to http://www.courtesyparts.com/54618-a...4_715_800_802& to see enlarged picture.

If you look closely at the enlarged picture you'll see one end has an internal recess for an Allen-head wrench, and the other end has a piece to keep the bolt from rotating. Can't tell from the picture which end goes up/down, though.

My guess is the recess is filled with dirt.

I could swear there is a spot on the backside to put a wrench on.

Two other possibilities:

The splines that hold the clip from turning may have sheared, and it doesn't hold.

The bolt may be pushed through the hole too far, and the clip isn't touching the arm.

+1 on the post by Jason.

That's how it/they should be installed.

Jasonz-ya Thanks a ton. Makes sense now that I see that piece separate. This is my first install and I'm running the gf210's. The other side didn't break free so it puzzled me when this side did. It was late last night and the fatigue was getting to me. Thanks a ton for the replies!

Terra is correct. You have to double wrench or use the allen setup. It's a 13/16" wrench at least that's what I use. I have coilovers and mess with the front all suspension all the time.
