Default Price to Expect for Spring Install?

Just wanted to get a quote on how much you guys have paid to get springs installed. I plan on doing them myself but just checked to see what it would cost locally.

This guy said he would give a deal and do it for $200.

I'd do it for $120. These cars aren't that hard to work on.

Should cost you about $150-$200 for labout + another $80 for alignment.

free if done yourself.

alignment's are always good, but is arguable for such a moderate drop.

Do you know how much the alignment changes with just a small drop. Anything over about 1/4 inch, an alignment is needed.

Paid my friend 80 but I helped too. I'd say 140-160 if someone does it completely for you

like I said, alignments are always good. obviously once you alter the suspension geometry, alignment will be out of spec.

the predominant downside of not getting an alignment after installing lowering springs is, again, arguably tire wear.

Honestly if you are not someone that enjoys working on your car, I will say 150-200 will satisfy you. It is easy but for a first timer the fronts could be a bother. Fact is once you do one side, the next side becomes peace of cake

I'd say 2 hours of labor is fair.
