Ap Racing Replacement Rotors
Hey Guys,
I know the kit is a little rare but am hoping to get some insight if anyone has any experience. My last track day at Laguna completely torched my front disks (cracks on nearly every hole). I have the AP Racing 4 pot 332mm (13") front/rear. Problem is, I would really like to go to a two piece (rotor/hat) in the front but Stillen wants over $700 for the parts. Even the exact replacement piece I have which is a solid 1 piece they want over $200 for each rotor.
I'm close to biting the bullet here as I have to get new rotors on for another day out but if anyone has any experience with poissibly replacing the front rotor in this kit with a different manufacturer and different vendor (Stillen can be expensive) I would love to hear about it.
Thanks much -

you're stuck with their rotors unfortunately as far as a 100% bolt on solution
other option is to do what I did when I ran those calipers - used DBA 5000 rotors, and had to make a shim for the caliper bracket. Don't remember what size it was unfortunately as it was custom done and this goes back probably 6 or so years now.
FWIW, $700 for a pair of 2 piece rotors is not unreasonable at all, but when you're ready let us know, may be able to get you a discount vs Stillen's pricing
