Default Eibach Coilover Spring Bucket Delete?

I just picked up a set of Eibach Coilovers, the true coilover type which doesn't utalize an adjustable spring for the bucket...

My question is before lowering should I remove the spring bucket and run aftermarket toe rod?

Will this affect my handling adversely? I want the best handling car I can get, and if leaving it/removing it will help I could use some insight,

Sorry I am not very familar in this area, thanks for the help

Doesn't really matter unless you go really low and need extra adjustment

Wow really fast response thank you!

But will it put more load on the coils? It could be extra weight savings but will it change the handling/traction of the car?

I guess Im really just trying to figure out the purpose of the spring bucket

Purpose of the spring bucket is to hold the OEM spring and it has an ecentric end to adjust toe. Without the spring, it just adjusts toe. The OEM arms is actually really light, not much if any weight savings. No extra load on the coils will happen if you keep it in.

If you do install true coilover, you should invest in the SPL monoball upper shock mount on the knuckle, the OEM bushing is not made to take the load.

I'd agree on minimal if any weight savings. My Oem spring bucket felt as heavy as my battle version toe arms.

Post pictures of the actual coilovers. I am not aware that Eibach/KW made "true" coilovers for the 350z/G35 platform. I wouldn't go by the picture that's advertised. Open the box and check.

That link says $1,161.18. How did you get them for $450 shipped?

The Eibach Pro Street are OEM style rears; that's just a stock photo.

It was a one time thing, I know a buddy that works in the wherehouse for their re seller, the box was damaged and it would have cost them more money and time to send it back to Eibach,

Why all the hate? Sorry if you payed full retail

It is not a stock photo, they are the actual units...

Those are them again, they do not include a spring + adjuster for rear buckets,

CarID knows more than me I guess. Make sure to buy all the necessary parts for a true rear suspension before opening the box of coilovers. Good luck.

I didn't pay full retail and I wasn't hating. We were all just trying to jump on the same awesome deal you got.

That carID link doesn't show 350Z coilovers. It's a generic picture.

Open up the box and post a pic. 350z shocks looking nothing like the amazon pic or the carid pic. Don't go by generic photos.

edit: No hate found in this thread? You feel "hate" from casual conversation?

I guess I'll be watching for some at $580 then. It says they are shipped from and sold by amazon. Is there a way to watch specifically for this deal or do you just check regularly?

I would just check regularly, look at the review, the guy even says

This review is from: Eibach 6364.711 Pro-Street-S Coil-Over System (Automotive)
Great price. Even though it was a "used" item, I don't know how or where it was "used", looks better than brand new!!!!!!!! Only problem, there are ZERO instructions. There is a cd of instructions however, they are in German... Even looking on line, not a lot of help. Summary: awesome product, better than described. Instructions, non-existentant.... If you are not mechanically inclined, get help. The springs are NOTHING to mess around with! Only a "4 star" because of the lack of competent instructions...
