Howdy.. i have Stance OEM LX coils, now discontinued.. very low miles on them, and im not going to sell them and get rid of them just over this..
here's my issue that Im looking for assistance with:
Stance sends these out ( used to ) w 11k/9k springs.
Again, the rear are OEM style bucket and collar springs and are NOT on the shock body like a true)
I need to up this to 13k/11k... Stance will gladly sell me a set of fronts very inexpensively... but they cant source me the rears anymore.
So thats what I need.
Rear springs at 11k that will either
a) fit my stance collars and height requirements as a drop in
or
b) work with their own collar at a similar height adjustability.
I need a higher rate spring as Im going to fit far better wheels and stance to the car and dont want to eat fender and wheel on bumps .. the car is no longer going to be driven daily and I want it to be lower than it currently is.
It will never be raced, or tracked, and Im not going air bags. Car is now a full fwy cruiser and thats it.
I assume a set of rear springs and a collar set cant be more than 250 bucks.
Does anyone know what I can use to fix my issue?
Again, 11k OEM location short rear springs for use w coilovers/sleeve collar.

Totally correct of course.. but even before, the springs on the LX were jsut far too soft, there was kind of a flop motion to how they felt.. i didnt like it at all to be honest.
Im not going that much lower, maybe an inch.. but i do want the wheels to poke a bit and will probably NOT stretch tires, so thers just not going to be much travel anymore.
Is what it is.. i certainly had different goals for the car when i was driving in it every day.. i see that as foolhardy at the very least w its current build.
Bought this other car.. which is a blast on its won and is hooked up as well.. so if im going to have a garage queen 350z instead of , say, a weekend motorcycle like most of theses guys in my neighborhood have .. i want a FULL GARAGE QUEEN lol.
Thanks for your replies so far guys.. i didnt know if it was going to be a big deal or not. .i assumed it wasnt going to be too bad to find.. Ill call up those guys you reccomended now and see what they can do.

looks like i found a set of 2.5 8" coils , hyperco on ebay for 138 a pair.. closest they have is 600 lbs or a jump to 650 lbs.. which would you advise? a hair lower or higher?
And this is comparable to 11k ? oem style (arm bucket location) spring?
2.5" still sounds like a shock body mounted spring to me, wheras the one that comes and sits in the spring bucket is pretty darn big.. i may jsut start googling around to see who else makes OEM style rears and just buy their srings i guess lol.

no dice.. i just had a chance to measure these up today... i need a 4.5 inch inner diameter spring... its about 7.5 inches installed and raised fully in the air on a lift. I cant imagine theres much preload on these things.
does anyone have any suggestions for me?

For anyone else who stubles upon this thread in perpituity, lol
BC racing makes an OEM location/bucket conversion for a standard 61mm(2.5") spring to be used in the stock location..
you need their hi/low collar at $85 dollars retail as well as thier billet aluminum adapter at $85 a pair as well. Then a guy can use any 180 mm tall spring they so desire.
They also have their own springs avail in up to 10k on 2 week special order.
I will probably just go the 10k route and keep it simple tho, but at least the data is out there now if anyone evers searches later on.

what is the high low collar you are referring too? is that just the adjustable top seat (with locking nut/threaded washer) on the rear spring so you can adjust the height of the rear? i called bc racing today and the guy told me since i already have a coil over set up in the back i will just need the bucket adapter to fit the 65id swift spring in the bucket.
