John: I may make it down to VIR this summer (although I've been saying that for years and stil haven't been able to find the time). But I'll definitely be at SP quite a bit. Right now my SP schedule looks like: April 19-20, May 1-3, July 5-6, August 14-15, October 25-26 and November 6-7. I think I'll make almost all of those dates (April is the one that looks least likely).

I've used Panther + front and back on a Track model Z at Texas World Speedway and they held up nicely. Of course, TWS is sorta easy on the brakes... two or three hard braking zones and the rest of the 2.9 miles to cool them down. This was with street tires, not race rubber.
Once I started using r-compounds, I switched to XP front and back and I've been very satified.

Thanks for posting the link. I'm glad I have you guys to help cover all of the questions...I just can't keep up with everything right now!!! That was on my list of 'things I'll do someday if I decide to skip a meal or not sleep."
I guess that's a good sign though...
