AP Racing Brake 4 Piston Caliper & Wheel Clearance
Is there any way I would know if a set of wheels would clear a big brake kit before I order the wheels? For instance any way to measure?
Well what type of BBk do you have? 8,6,4 piston?

It's an ap racing 4 piston in the front and still running stock in the rear. Not sure of the rotor size, I bought the car with the brakes allready installed and I'm looking at a set of varstoens but I don't want to order them just to get them and find out they don't fit.

Just a warning - My akebono fronts (14" rotor 4 pot) didn't clear the barrel of my aftermarket 18x10 +26 wheels so required a little shaving but it fits the stock 5 spoke 18s. This isn't due to offset or width but rather the design of the wheel itself
AP should make a template that you can use for measurement
These are all of the 4 piston caliper setups that I found, are any of them yours?

What I would do is find your version, print it out the caliper template and have either a vendor measure the wheel for you or find a wheel that someone has already used before with your same AP setup.

+1 to printing out the template…find the template before you order them, once you open the box they are non-returnable…
AP Racing is out of England, so don't even bother calling them…I would tell you to call Stillen…they are (I believe) the only authorized dealer in the states...

From what I can remember:
AP 14.25" won't fit any 17"
Stoptech, Wilwood 14" (template shows max of 201mm from hub center) will fit some 17"s including MB weapon, TE37, 5zigen and maybe Advan RS (ref M3Posts.com)
15" will require 18"+
use spacers if you can't get the spokes to clear.
