Default Installation cost?

Just receive my set of rotors and brake pads front and back. What would be an ideal price for a shop to charge just to install them? Went to midas and quoted me 380 bucks to install front and rear just for new brake pads. I walked.

Go to DIY section.
Buy some tools!
Spend at least 2 hrs. And it's free!

380$ for labor is steep with parts provided.. Find someone local to help you if you aren't comfortable. Like the rest said. Look at the DIY, it's not as bad as you think it is.

If changing wheels is difficulty 1/5, this job would be 2/5

You do not need an impact screwdriver. The rotors on these cars are free floating rotors. They might be seized on and a little tough to get off at first. The front has a hole where you can put a bolt in and the rotor will pop right off. The rear just make sure your e-brake is off and put a big bar in the back of the rotor to knock it loose or you could use a mallet.

You can probably find youtube videos like people have said. Another thing you can do is post in your regional section and maybe someone can help you out? Either by installing it for you or helping you.
