Default Tightening E-brake?

Well here's my scenario:
I park my car on a slight incline, and it turn it off in first gear. I pull up the e-brake (not ALL the way up, but it should be enough). Then it slowly rolls back, so I pull the e-brake all the way up, to where it cant go up any higher (and now I do that every time in order to not chance it rolling back.

*Also the brakes squeak often when I am coming to a stop.

Do you think I need something changed based off of these symptoms or is it just the e-brake?

The ebrake in this car sucks you just need to tighten it. Squeaking brakes are not related since the ebrake is a seperate system. To get rid of the squeak change to different pads (unless OEM) and lube the backplates. You should be able to find a DIY from the forum how to tighten the ebrake, just search.

The is a bolt to tighten under your center console.
Its easy to get to. but it doesnt help in the right way.
It does tighten it....but it also gives you a stiff ebrake. meaning that my right shoulder has more muscle than my left one hah.
even still. it grab enough to hold it at an incline. but no matter how hard I yank it up...my rear wheels will not lock

to adjust the ebrake the right way you have to do it from the calipers

I believe on the Z it is not a separate system. I thought the Z does not have parking shoes and uses the normal rear rotor and pads, hence why it is so weak.

Careful adjusting, once I adjusted it to my liking, I went on the highway and burnt up my rear pads since it was adjusted too much.

Unfortunately the e-brake just sucks on the Z, hence why I always park in gear.

I wouldn't go disassembling anything just yet. I seem to recall some self-ratcheting system where it's supposed to adjust on it's own or you have to back the car up slowly <5mph and stop the car with just the ebrake to get it to tighten.

To adjust the E-Brake, lift the ashtray from the console look into the hole towards the rear of the car and you'll see a nut. To adjust to tighten turn the nut clockwise with a socket, don't forget to make sure to leave enough clicks on the E-Brake lever when lifting or you'll just end up wrecking your pads and possibly warp the discs due to excess heat. A little copper grease on the rear of the pads will stop the low speed squealing.

4 years of ownership and you don't know that we have a seperate e brakes system.

Yes the e brake has shoes, works off the inner drum of the rear rotor, and it sucks. It sucks even when properly adjusted.

I had to loosen the left side ebrake shoe in order to take off the rotor.
Now I don't know how much to tighten lol

All you need to do is tighten it until it starts to rub slightly and then back it off between a third and a quarter turn, then put it all back together again. This should now be correctly tightened.

I tightened it until it was hard to turn the rotor. Then I backed off about 6 turns
seems to be perfect now

If the car was in gear, I don't understand how the car could roll regardless of how good or bad the e-brake happens to be. The engine compression should stop it from rolling.

Haven't had to change my rear pads yet (only 35k on the car) and the Nissan service manager told me that. At first I didn't believe him but then gave in since the ebrake sucks so much I figured he was right. Then again this is the same dealership that put the wrong tranny fluid in causing me to lose 5th and 6th on the highway.
