Default Noise in rear suspension help!!

My car has been making creaking noises from the back end of the car. I have been told it may be bushings that are going bad, but wanted input from anyone who may have had/are having this same problem

How many miles on the car? The sway bar endlinks are known to retire early. Also check the lubrication on the sway bar bushings.

Im having the same thing. A kind of squeak/creak that seems to come from about the rear shock towers over bumps in my 07 350z. Stock suspension. 88k miles. Its driving me crazy.

Had similar sounds on my vintage 2003 starting 'bout 100k miles. Little squeaks when applying brakes - turn out to be rear bearings were gone. Replaced left hand first then couple k miles later the right. My mileage is mainly highway, couple of track runs but no driver education events.

I don't think mine is the axles, because with the windows down and creeping over speed bumps the sounds still sounds like it is coming from the inside shock towers. Not from outside or lower. Im leaning more towards shocks, the shock's upper mount, or the hatch possibly. And braking has nothing to do with it. just bumps

This sound is definitely not brakes or wheel bearings. more of a worn out bushing, or suspension problem. Really would love for someone to have fixed this already, not looking to shell out the money for shocks when it could be money poured into the engine instead!

Possibly the gasket between the upper shock mount and the shock tower, parts #6 and #8 seen here;

^This...you were given the answer on your first reply. Now go get dirty.

Creaking and popping thats the first thing you should replace, since its the cheapest and easiest.

Check the swaybar endlinks. I know someone that was having clicky/creaky sounds from the rear and just found that the swaybar endlinks were the culprit. Jack up the rear and disconnect the swaybar endlinks and see if it's your problem.

Awesome, i just wanted to confirmation. Sucks trying to guess parts and fix problems once parts start costing $100+.

I totally understand. No one wants to spend unnecessarily. Honestly though, $100 is chump change for some peace of mind.
FYI, after changing out the endlinks, there is no noise while driving, but the rear still creak slightly on steep driveways. Next up is new gasket and shock mount.

I just finished replacing the endlinks. I wont let my car touch snow so i wont find out if it was the problem until spring, but one endlink seemed to be destroyed for sure, felt like there was no grease in it at all. I'm 99% convinced that was my problem.
