Default Aftermarket shocks necessary?

Hey guys I'm about to drop my car on some Eibach Pro's (Got a new set on Craigslist for $100!!) I'm aware I'm going to need a rear camber kit.

But I've heard from some people that new shocks are necessary, is this true? will my stock shocks go out on these springs?

Wheel set up:

19x8.75 +15mm 255/35/19

19x10.75 +15mm 285/35/19

I'm guessing a fender roll will be necessary as well?

I tried searching but couldn't come up with much. Thanks in advance guys!

IMO you don't need new shocks or a rear camber kit with the Pro Kit as the drop is minimal. I didn't buy either when I had Tein S-Techs and had no problems getting into spec with my alignment. I would however roll your rear fenders.

Depends on how many miles you have, stock shocks + Eibachs lasted me about 30,000 miles but since then I have switched to the Tokico HP's

Do yourself a favor OP and read the first couple pages of this very informative thread:

It's an 08 with 29k miles.

Would it be smarter to just sell these springs and invest in coil-overs since springs+shocks are probably close to the same price?

I'd like new shocks, can blowing a shock out damage the car badly?

Coilovers are overkill for a strictly street driven car

Just use your springs for awhile and save up for a good set of aftermarket shocks. If your stock shocks start failing they will get really bouncy but you won't do any long term damage

what is your opinion on the camber kit then? I don't want to wear my tires down. The eibachs are a 1" drop.

Thanks for all your help man!

Luck of the draw in the rear, some cars will align out just fine, others will require rear camber arms and toe bolts.

The front will be about -1.6 without a kit, it is out of spec, and really not a problem. As long as toe is properly set, your tires will only get killed a couple thousand miles faster if you only drive on straight roads. Twisty roads, the tires will actually last longer.

https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...ion-101-a.html please spend 20 to 30 minutes looking over this post, it is very informative.
