Smile New Stop-tech rotors and Hawk pads!

**EDIT**
Mod can you move this to the 350z Brake section! This is for a 350z. I accidentally posted in 370z! Thanks!

**FINAL EDIT**
Updated post with the rotors on the Z! Hard to see them kinda but I like being discrete! So happy!

Hey everyone,

Just posting a pic of the new brakes I received today. I'll be getting them installed on the car tomorrow morning! Super excited. I know that slotted rotors don't really make a difference when it comes to regular street driving and that they are really just "bling" on a car, but has anyone felt any type of difference? First time every having a car that will have slotted rotors.

Best,
Justin

With slotted rotors expect increased brake pads wear.

Thanks!!

and yeah I expected that when I purchased the rotors but any difference in performance? I don't care if there is or not but just curious. I've viewed mix feelings about slotted/drilled rotors. Some people say it is an improvement, some stay neutral, and some say they crack and break easier.

Some cross drilled rotors are prone to crack, true. But slotted shouldn't have that issue.

There is slightly better brake pedal feel with slotted rotors, because pads will be cleaner and with more direct "bite".

What type of brake system you working with? All these sound like good improvements to me! Thanks for the comment!

Currently I am on a stock Brembos with Ferodo brake pads. Having good experience with EBC stuff and Stoptech.
