Axis Brake Pads (vs. EBC/HAWK)? Any Thoughts?
Hi guys, any thoughts on how the Axis brake pads perform in relation to the EBC's and the Hawks?
My main concern is brake dust and secondly squeeking noise.
If anyone has experience with these pads esp. on the 350z, please help. Seems like Hawk is the clear cut favorite when it comes to brake dust. Is Axis even comparable? Thanks in advance guys.

Don't know Axxis but having driven with the Hawk's for the last 1.5 wks., I couldn't be happier. No squeal, almost no dust (my front wheels stay as clean as the back now), and easier to modulate the pedal at low speeds without the initial bite of the stock pads. It would be difficult to match Hawk in my opinion.
I have Axxis pads on my 92 Stealth and EBC Greenstuff pads on my 350Z. Both work great and put out very little dust. I am perfectly happy with either brand. II have never had a squeak with the Axxis pads but I do have an occasional squeak with the Greenstuff pads. That isn't really a big deal, however. I have never used the Hawk pads.

Axxis is the brand of pad that we ship with all of our big brake kits. They are great pads. We typically ship the Axxis Ultimate, but if a customer is concerned about dusting and noise, the Axxis Deluxe plus is what we recommend. I think you would be very happy with this pad. They would be comparable with the Hawk HPS, but they are cheaper. I cannot recommend EBC at all. I am not a fan by a long stretch.
thanks for the feedback. Really helps out alot.
I did go ahead and buy Hawk since the forum members seems to overwhelmingly like the pad, but next time around, I will try
the Axxis Ultimate pads. THanks.
