Default koni or billstein with nismo springs on base 08

Wondering how this set up would handle the daily life? Would it be too stiff? I have searched everybody seems to junk the nismo springs when they upgrade shocks b/c gotta go lower. so there is no info I can find. I don't want to lower my car any its low enough or should I just stick with stock base springs?

Either damper would work well with whatever spring you've got in mind. As for NISMO springs- there are the Nissan Comp ones that are quite stiff (in the 700# range), there are the ones off the NISMO 350Z that will offer only a slight bump in stiffness and the aftermarket NISMO springs offered through dealers (slight drop and change in stiffness). Depends on what's most important to you- ride, fender gap or handling?

I would pay a little extra and get Koni and have them valved for the springs you plan to use.

I ran "off the shelf" Koni's with RSR springs for years. Now, I'm running a set of custom-valved single adjustable Koni's with custom spring rates.

I love the Koni's for performance driving, however, I would go with Bilstein shocks for DD duty.

I have put a set on our Magnum RT and my Father-in-laws C6 Vette.

In both cases, the Bilstein's improved ride AND handling.

The Koni "yellow's" improved handling on my Z more than the Bilstein's improved handling on the other two cars, but ride quality suffers with the Koni's.

I’m not sure what you are saying/asking here. What is your question?

I can tell you that Bilstein B8 shocks work very well with springs that drop .06-0.8 inches. They also work with stock springs and Nismo springs.
