Default Eibachs with Stock Shocks

Just bought the Eibachs off of Mytalon on this thread, thanks for the great deal. My question will I be ok with the stock shocks? Will they bottom out on me? How soon will they have to be replaced, and when they do need to be replaced which shocks should I replace them with??
Thanks in advance guys...

i just scored some eibachs myself - just waiting to get them to put them on...
as far as your concerns go, i wouldn't worry too much about it; the eibachs are designed to work with the stock suspension...
the car will handle better with them on than with the stock springs...

hope that helps

it's okay to use eibach with stock shocks. I have 26k miles on my car with eibach, no problems so far. you may need to get rear camber kit.

you can replace stock shocks with koni, or tokico in the near future..

I second it, the Eibachs are a great mod, ride is better and the car looks better, leave the shocks for later.

hey guys whats up while im awaiting my Z im basically reading as much as I can and planning my future mods. Suspension is going to be on of the first things I modify. One thing I said to myself when I sol dmy rsx was I was going to go full coilovers because I think I maybe had my eibach sportlines on for about 6 months and the 2 of the corners were already creaking over only little bumps and I know that the shocks would have to be replaced sooneer than later. That experience is the only thing holding me back from getting springs for the 350. A previous poster mentioned he got 26k on them which I find more than acceptable, I just dont want to have them blow before 10-15k. plus the rougly 250 you spend for springs is a good way to get the look while saving for coilover. So if anyone else has any other comments about them I would appreciate it.

NothingButZ:

ive been thinking about the same thing. i had a maxima that i put drop springs on and less than a week later the shocks were makin noises. now i do not wanna get just springs so i've been thinking about the tein basic coilover (~$800) this way its a direct replacement and can easily be changed back to stock if needed. then theres the $$ to be spent on the camber kit....
