Default Akebono caliper rebuild

Hi all, I am most of the way through rebuilding my 4 pot and 2 pot Akebono calipers and I do have seal kits ordered but they are taking for ever. Does the hive mind have recommendations on any "other suppliers" of rebuild kits for these brakes? I have seen people using AC Delco, Concept Z and Z1 (and mine are coming from Z1)

Any other recommendations or endorsements?

I've purchased the rebuild kit from Rockauto for Brembos. They should have it for the Akebonos as well.

Default Akebono caliper rebuild

Z1 has OE Akebono rebuild kits, and for much less money Centric rebuild kits. Are the Akebono kits worth about five times as much, or would I just be paying a premium for the OE name? Note that I take the car to track days occasionally. Thanks for any insight.

super cool, thanks for sharing. did you have a reason to rebuild other than the powder coating? would you mind sharing how much it cost to PC? really want to do mine too
