You realize that many of the calipers used on the market were devloped just as long ago right?

The stock brakes are a single piston - the 300ZX TT front calipers are a 4 piston. If for nothing else, vastly improved feel.

Default hoo-ray

well, i met someone who bolted them on with little more than a washer. These were rebuilds too.....so same core, just replacement seals......so for the cost of a single brembo brake caliper, I can buy and install the entire kit, including rotors, pads, and lines for less, and well in advance of the next track event. Granted, the rotors are a few mms smaller, and I might have to adjust the spacing of the emergency brake......like i need that anyway. ha.

Hmm....trying to justify that BBK now arent we?

so...anyone want to buy NIB cobalt friction pads, front and rear for standard calipers? haha. Looks like I wont be needing them.

you need a caliper bracket as well

these are a far cry from a proper big brake kit, but alot better than the standard single piston caliper non brembo owners get

These brakes on the z32 would warp a rotor in nothing flat, so not sure why you would want them on a z33.

^^^ I don't think so bub. I can't speak for everyone else but the brakes on my 93 300zx TT stood up to all the abuse I could throw (Tack events, Street racing, 3 driving trips coast to coast) at them and the only thing I ever had to do was change pads now and then.

Thats exacting what I've been thinking. I'm not saying that the 300zxtt brakes would be as good as the current Brembos but still better than the current single piston with a stange 2 upgrade.
Besides... A set of Red or Gold Powder coated calipers with the Nissan logo on them would look HOT!.

hmm...it appears all I can find is a caliper relocator for the z32. The bracket is needed for just the rears? or the fronts as well? Does anyone know of any others who fabricate a fancy adapter (besides z1...which I will patiently wait for, if i have to)?

No problem... Just keep bird doggin this issue until we get some real aswers. Z1 is a real good source of information so is StopTech (if you can keep them from trying to change the tread into a marketing opportunity ). To be honest, this is how money making ideas are born. You get my drift?

Where did you find this information? Got a link?
The more information we can gather the better off we'll be. Right now information is key.

I'm sorry but that sentence makes absolutely no sense

calipers don't "warp" rotors

I guess you could do both but I got my price from a junk yard. But even I would just buy a rebuild kit. Performace Nissan might have them on hand but I wouldn't know for how much... I will look into it once they get the website back up..

should be pretty easy for us to figure out. My car is going to be apart for a few weeks as my next round of goodies finally goes in, so would be a good chance for us to get the rear setup and see what all is involved.

If you can draft up the front braket mounts I have a shop in the area that can make them. Anything you need just let me know. I'm thinking about buying a set of calipers myself for testing just for ***** and giggles.
All BS aside I think this could end up being a very good low budget mod for our users and a good product for the lucky person who gets it to market first.

Don't take it the wrong way when I say this, but the Z32 caliper with the a Z32 rotor will warp. Nissan even had a technical bulliten for proper torque of the lug nuts to hub so the rotor would not warp. I don't see any 350Z being out braked (even non brembo) by a 350Z with Z32 brakes.
