You realize that many of the calipers used on the market were devloped just as long ago right?
The stock brakes are a single piston - the 300ZX TT front calipers are a 4 piston. If for nothing else, vastly improved feel.

well, i met someone who bolted them on with little more than a washer. These were rebuilds too.....so same core, just replacement seals......so for the cost of a single brembo brake caliper, I can buy and install the entire kit, including rotors, pads, and lines for less, and well in advance of the next track event. Granted, the rotors are a few mms smaller, and I might have to adjust the spacing of the emergency brake......like i need that anyway. ha.
Hmm....trying to justify that BBK now arent we?
so...anyone want to buy NIB cobalt friction pads, front and rear for standard calipers? haha. Looks like I wont be needing them.

you need a caliper bracket as well
these are a far cry from a proper big brake kit, but alot better than the standard single piston caliper non brembo owners get

^^^ I don't think so bub. I can't speak for everyone else but the brakes on my 93 300zx TT stood up to all the abuse I could throw (Tack events, Street racing, 3 driving trips coast to coast) at them and the only thing I ever had to do was change pads now and then.

Besides... A set of Red or Gold Powder coated calipers with the Nissan logo on them would look HOT!.

hmm...it appears all I can find is a caliper relocator for the z32. The bracket is needed for just the rears? or the fronts as well? Does anyone know of any others who fabricate a fancy adapter (besides z1...which I will patiently wait for, if i have to)?

The more information we can gather the better off we'll be. Right now information is key.

fronts definitely need a bracket...rear I have no even checked yet
new calipers are a breeze for us to source, and there are tons of pad options for them as well

should be pretty easy for us to figure out. My car is going to be apart for a few weeks as my next round of goodies finally goes in, so would be a good chance for us to get the rear setup and see what all is involved.

All BS aside I think this could end up being a very good low budget mod for our users and a good product for the lucky person who gets it to market first.
