Default brake pads install

I did a rear brake pad switch on the rear this weekend. It was pretty straight forward. I'm waiting for the front Brembo pads. Has anyone changed those out? Pictures, difficulty?

Jim, the front Brembo pads are just as easy as the rears. Just pull out the cotter pins, then pull out the cross-member pins with the leaf spring. Then pull out the brake pads, use one brake pad as a lever to compress the piston so that you can slide in your new brake pads. I can do all 4 in about 30 minutes, and that's with drinking beer, getting distracted, and without air tools.

The OEM pads on the Brembos are made by Ferodo, and yes, they dust a decent amount.

The rest of your post is unintelligible, so rephase and ask again.

I think he's asking if you can use the Brembo pads on non-brembo brakes, and the answer is NO.

Don't know cost of Brembo pads, but non-brembo are about $50 a pair from Nissan and probably less aftermarket.

I'm glad you could translate for him D'oh.

The OEM Brembo pads are pretty much the same price...
