Hi Zack

Is Titan MS going to have a drop ship ?

Just wondering.. The distance and shipping to your location..

Drop ship from Hotchkis to you sounds cheaper than
Hotchkis ships to Titan then they ship to you. Capich ?

So Titan doesn't actually carry these? Because they are about 10 min from my house.

How long ago did you order your springs. I got my bars today and am waiting for my springs. I suppose they will be drop shipped as well.

Let us know when you get them.. And if they were drop shipped..

That would be a good way to do the shipping - ship once..
Save shipping cost...

I ordered the TVS kit straight from Hotchkis about a week ago. They said it's on backorder right now, so I'll have to wait. I've got a pair of Koni shocks on the way, too. Can't wait to get it all installed and see how it performs. My only concern is where to set the Koni shock rebound damping to match up with the Hotchkis springs.

From some of the other threads it looks like everyone has them set to full soft and IIRC someone said thats what Koni recommended

Yeah, I did read that Koni recommended full soft for the stock springs, but I wasn't sure about the Hotchkis springs. Based on Hotchkis' website their springs rates are almost the same as stock, so I'm guessing full soft would indeed be an okay setting.

Ah, so that means Nopi had the stuff in stock, but Hotchkis doesn't. Doh! I figured I'd get the stuff quicker if I ordered straight from Hotchkis. <sigh>

I had a celica before this Z, and as you know hotchkis first started with the celica. I bought a whole tvs system from them and in the end paid around if not more than 3 grand. i was satisfied with the product, but dealing with hotchkis and their customer service is a nightmare, I will never deal with them again. Not only are their things expensive, they did not help me at all after the purchase. Their customer service was some of the worst i have ever experienced after the sell. Not only did they state and admit that one of their products was designed poorley and it resulted in premature wear of bearings on their camber plates, but when i asked them to warrenty it, they said NO. That it was due to wear and tear, even though they admited it was designed poorley and resulted to it. The new design did not wear as fast or have problems. Great product, bad customer service. If im going to spend thousands of dollars in their product, you as a company should back up your product. I am also not the only one that has had problems with hotchkis and their customer service, multiple people have over at newcelica.org

I can understand your frustration, but as far pricing on Hotchkis Z parts... it's surprisingly affordable! I was able to purchase the TVS kit (springs and swaybars) for about $390 from them. That's a great price for that combination of items!
