Default How low can you go? Tein Basics.

Well, a lot of people think that the Eibachs drop the car to much, I think exactly the opposite. The deffinitly do not drop the car enough! Still to much wheel gap.

My pockets arnt deep enough to drop the cash for the Tein Flex system much less with the EDFC. So it looks like theTein Basics would be a nice upgrade that suits my budget.

My main question. Just how low can they go? It would need to be a good half an inch lower then the Eibachs can go for me to bite.

Also, there must be some kind of performance upgrade. I saw another thread were people were saying it is stiffer and deffinitly made the car handle better. Opinions?

Any disadvantages for the Basics?

Thanks for the help!

- Jason

jason, give your springs some more time to settle. or put some sand bags in the trunk to weigh it down.

or put 50lbs. sacks of rice in the trunk.... then it'll be a real rice rocket, literally.

haha mgl , but what about the front? I could duct tape the to the hood I suppose ( The rice sacks that is )

I wouldnt just buy other springs because the shocks arnt going to last very long as we all know with the aftermarket springs and I will have to eventually spend the cash on shocks anyways.

Koni Yellows are 650 bucks. Tein Basics are 750 bucks.

Sooo instead of buying konis I buy the teins and sell the Eibachs for 100 bucks maybe. Therefor I spend the same amount of cash for something better.

Just kinda bummed that the rears only go 1.1 inch down.

I would let the Eibachs settle but I do not think they aregoing to move another .5 down. I have noticed no difference from when I installed them.
