1. change brake lines (stainless steel)
2. change brake fluids (high boiling point)
3. change brake rotors (cross drilled / slotted) https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=83551

4. change brake pads (depends on street or track)

that would be the cheapest way to upgrade your stock brakes without spending lots of money.. it can be under $500 for all of the above if you shop around..

Without a doubt the best bang for the buck brake upgrade for the 350 and G. Designed specifically for this application with one goal in mind, performance.

All this and you lose about 15 pounds of unsprung weight off the front wheels.
Forged 4 piston caliper (13.1"x 1.25" rotor)

Only a few spots left on this run.

I would have to agree. Wilwood setups are cheap.

The saying "You get what you pay for" really comes into play though.

Could you be anymore bias? Does Stoptech pay you or are you like that guy in the Wendy's commercial?

Countless threads come and go and you still continue to make all these negative remarks regarding Wilwood components. Have you ever even seen any of these kits first hand or driven a car at the track equipped with one?

Has it ever occurred to you that since all of the components used in these kits are manufactured right here in the US there is no need to ship pieces from around the world. They also sell in such volume that they are able to price them for less too. Take a look at the cost of replacement components for example. The 13" rotors are about $150 a piece and the 14" are $185 a piece.

Wilwood has been producing high performance brake components for the better part of 26 years. They have a lot of experience building rigid and effecient designs. Their continued success and growth emphasizes this.

As with ALL race components including big brake kits, there is no warranty offered. However, we do offer a warranty on all the pieces to be free from defects in craftmanship. If there is ever a problem with any of the components they will be replaced, prior to installation.

And yes, the kit posted above is for a front only kit. We do also have a 4 wheel kit available.

Sorry for not responding earlier. I doubt that you will see any caliper only upgrades for this car since the main drawback to the stock brake system is in fact the rotors. They are far to thin to act as any effective heat sink. Project Mu might be the only outfit making a caliper only set up. Unfortunately, the cost of just the calipers alone are well over $1500.

Cheap brakes.... that would be in the price line of Wilwood or Rotora also.

Wilwood doesn't make kits themselves most of the time, they are pieced together by venders usually (can be good or bad). Rotora, StopTech, Endless, are made direct from the manufacture specific for the car.

But it all comes down to what you really want the brakes for, I know StopTech does countless hours as does Endless Japan on testing theirs for track use and autoX, but 99% of the people that buy brakes don't do either more than 1 time a year Best beat is to find people in your area and see if they will let you try out their brakes and see how you like the feel of it as everyone likes a different feel dependin on how they drive.
