The difference between European drivers and American drivers is that European drivers don't care if their brakes squeal, just as long as they stop the car. American drivers don't care if their brakes stop the car, just as long as they don't squeal.

The hawks are good. No brake dust but they sqweeled alot.
So I tried Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads and now, no dust or squeal.

Hey Jason - if I just get the front brake pads, will that have a negative effect on my braking? (ie: Hawks in front, OEM Nissan in the back).
I'm a pretty handy DIYer but haven't taken a crack at car DIY. Is this a DIY project?

So EBC is better then Hawk huh? how long you guys had EBC on the car? I am really tired of this squealing. Anyone that lower you car that r using EBC? I want to make sure I can solve this problem right, dont want to hear that noise ever ever again.

I have Hawk and I bedded them, the whole nine yards, they didn't squeal for like a week.
Now the squeal like a biatch.
The brake dust is much better, but you'll find yourself stopping differently to minimize squeal.
Will not buy Hawk again.
Will try EBC soon.

i had 2 sets of EBCs on my accord...
set 1...no squeal from beginning to end....and better braking and less dust...just as advertised....
set 2...squeals like crazy from day 1
set 1 did go with brand new rotors...
set 2 went w/ just turned rotors....maybe that's why?
just some food for thought.....EBC might not the cure-all answer for squealing....
personally, I am just going to stick with stock. I'd rather have dust than to deal with squealing.
