Default Brake Pistons...The more the bettter?

Are 6 piston calipers better than 4?

Are 14 inch rotors better than 13 inch?

Are wear characteristics different (either with different size systems or compared to stock)?

I have read that brake upgrades don't necessarily reduce braking distance, but improve fading that is prevalent in constant or continuous use.

Are there any drawbacks to a brake upgrade?

Would you recommend upgrading the "rears" as well?

not necessarily... 6 pot calipers can exert more even pressure on the brake pad if you have a system that requires a longer pad

only if you are trying to win the 24 Hours of Daytona and you really need a LOT of heat-dissipating characteristics; or you just want to brag about having giant brakes, bling-bling

depends on how you use the brakes... could be better, could be worse

brakes don't stop the car, tires stop the car.... brakes convert forward kinetic energy into heat, the friction between the tires and the road surface is what causes the car to actually stop... so, if you do a lot of stopping from high speeds (like in a competetive race) you need all the heat-dissipating you can get

only to the bank account...

overkill, unless you just like spending money...

more information than you ever thought possible at www.stoptech.com go to their technical section for articles about everything you just asked...
