Default Suspension Question!!! :D:D

Whats the suspension system where you can control the settings from the inside called? is that what a damper kit is?

What did you guys lower your cars with? does the feathering issue go away after you get new suspension? Which company has the most reliable suspension kits? are you happy with the outcome of yours?

Thanks guys in advance

I am also looking at the camber arms. These are fully adjustable but should be done by an alignment shop. Kinetix has a full package that I am looking at buying in a month. It is $750 for the from adjustable camber arm, rear upper and lower arms. Check it out, it seems to be the best priced. I would like feedback from others though.

I have a friend that is a lead engineer at Ford in Dearborne, MI. He says the feathering issue is a combination of two things. One is the toe-in and the other is the camber. With our cars, the only adjustable component is the toe-in. Nissan can fix this easily. Camber is a major cause to the feathering. If you look at cars that put on wider and thicker tires like mine, the tires will camber in. The camber is not adjustible according to alignment shops. This will casue the tires to wear on the inside a lot easier.

I'm not looking at getting coilovers. Just the springs and the arms.

then why ask ...you can't adjust your springs....and if you want to change out your shocks you will have to adjust those manually...unless someone has a shock where you can control the settings from inside. if that's the case, you are better off going with coilovers...its going to be around the same price...rw...out

I am still up in the air with the springs. The reason I am not looking at coilovers is because I live in Detroit and lowering the car will be bad with the millions of pot hots. I most likely will not even look into springs. Just the arm adjustments. I have to many other things to buy. SC this winter.

the thing is with coilovers, you don't have to lower and you can adjust the height as well as the damper....also, another advantage to going with coilovers is that you get a spring and damper that are made to work together....hope this helps....good luck with your decision....but my suggestion is to go with coilovers if your looking at a suspension change....i have the hks ls+ and i really like them alot...however, nothing wrong with the stock except for the bounciness...lates
