Default Please HELP!!! Big Brake Kit problems?!

so I got my stoptechs about a year and a half ago and all is fine. then recently, my brake rotor or something in the front right tire well is emitting a loud humming noise @ 50 mph or so...i apply the brakes and the noise goes away.

I thought it was a bent front right wheel...so i got replacement wheels and tires...no problems with tire/wheel sizing as i got them from tire rack.

Then the noise comes back again!!

I bedded the pads as they recommended...i don't know what could be causing this. it definitely sounds like a metallic dull hum...no shrieking.

PLEASE...SOMEONE MUST KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!

Sounds like they are defective... I strongly recommend you take them off and send them to me.

I'll be happy to replace with my OEM brembos.

Have YOU taken off the wheel and visually inspected the brakes? See if there are any grooves on the rotor or anywhere you can see the kind of wear that could cause a noise.

Jason gave me a heads up on this. I'm not sure why you weren't able to reach someone. If you are in a crisis situation, you can always speak with someone in another department. We are definitely experiencing an extraordinarily high volume of calls right now leading up to SEMA, and we're doing our best to get back to everyone ASAP. Thanks.

Just spoke with Matt from Stop Tech...very nice person. Gave me a lot of potential solutions to the noise.

One thing i did notice from recently inspecting my brakes tonight is that there was brake dust/material within my cross drilled holes (~12 holes or so)...never saw that before...and it only was on the affected wheel...the rotors are fine..no evidence of warping

anyway,

I'm gonna re-bed the pads as i have quite a bit of pad left >1/4" as soon as the roads become dry.

Sounds like the pads are continuously rubbing on the rotors. Potentially pads or a warped rotor.
