Default Rotora 6 pot and 4 pot bbk cheap!!

Okay here my situation. I had my Rotora brake calipers and rotor hats sent out to be sand blasted and then powder coated a new color

The dude that I sent them out to complete messed the brakes up. I was going to take them somewhere else to get redone but they wont even fit my new set of wheels so I'm not even going to bother with them.

The calipers and hats look multi colored because of the sand blasting.
The guy took them apart because I sent them to him all in one piece.

Problems with the brakes.

One of the piston is seized in place. When I got the calipers back it was sticking out a bit so I put a c-clamp to it and pushed it back in. It should be able to come out now with some compressed air. The guy it looks like tried to pry the piston out (why I will never understand) and caused some damage to the piston. It still looks functional but doesn't look pretty.

When he was sand blasting the the hats I guess he had the heat to high and it caused some stress cracks on the front two rotor hats . They can be welded or you can just buy new hats.

When he tried to removed the brake line tube on one of the front calipers he broke the nut loose. The brake line is still intact though. He also stripped the brake tube lines holes on one of the rear calipers

Missing rear brake lines

All the other pistons, seals and rings were removed before the brakes were sand blasted and I will include those.

These brakes need alittle TLC so I am willing to let them go for cheap.

I was so frustrated with the guy that I told him to just send me the brakes back and he refunded me my money.

Now to the pictures

Front brake with seized piston

Front brake #2

Rear brake #1

Rear brake #2

Both rears

Rotor hats

Stress cracks on front hats

Calipers/hats/pistons/seals

Pistons and seals

Just looking to get1,200 obofor everything. These can easily be saved with alittle time but I just dont have the patients anymore plus I'm moving soon and dont want to have to bring these along. Brakes are sold as-is

If you need more pictures I can send you some no problems.

man that sucks.....I would def like to get these but damn there is alot of work that needs to be done.....honestly all hardware should be replaced...pistons and seals to refresh the whole functionality and then a good cleaning job and powdercoatingwill be needed. The rotor hats are fairly expensive from rotora arent they?? i know stoptechs are..already priced them. anyways good luck with the sale

I might be interested in these for parts. I paid under $2000 for a low mileage very clean set so you'd have to come down a lot. Somebody would have to be nuts to trust these to stop their car and suicidal to weld and reuse those front hats...

Yeah to be honest I would never have the front hats welded. I would much rather replace them because I would not want them to break while I was driving.

The price is obo. I know they are not visually appealing right now but ppl are quick to judge. These were working when I shipped them out to be sandblasted and powdercoated. Lesson learned for me. Next time I will find somewhere local to do something like this so I can keep an eye on everything.

If they dont sell then they dont sell. They will sit there and eventually I will get them rebuilt and looking like new. I have other priorities and these are last on my list.

So if somebody has a reasonable offer and has some time on there hands let me know.

I have checked with rotora and priced new seals lines and hats, which I would replace the rears also for fear that they are not visible stress cracks considering what the guy did to the fronts..... this does not include re powder coating, tapping the stripped threads and getting the seized seal out ( if it doesn't damage the rotor more) I could pay 1000 plUs shipping. let me know if that sounds reasonable. thanks for your tme.
