I'm in the market for a Grand Touring Roadster. I'll go where ever I have to in order to get a sweet deal on my Z /with some added NISMO options.

The dealers in upstate NY have no idea how to even pronounce the word NISMO.

i work for a nissan store in atlanta...my cost is under invoice but i would say that if you can keep the price point at least $1,600-$1,800 over cost on a roadster you did good for yourself

I saw a silverstone touring convertable at Nissan the other day for 45k. I paid 32k for my enthusiast.

Update:
Finally found a dealer who is willing to negotiate the right way on a 2006 ZRGT 6MT. They agreed to make $1000.00 on the sale. Here is the math:

Invoice Price - Factory Hold back - FloorPlan Interest = dealer's Cost

(Factory holdback is about 3%)

dealer's cost + $1000.00 = my sale price.

Thanks for the 411. If you do the math with the forumla above it will probably come out to about USD $300 to $400 UNDER invoice, remember that dealer cost is NOT the invoice cost. The reason I posted the formula and not the actual numbers is because there are no numbers yet for the 2006 model. If my dealer is correct, he claims that the pricing will be available August 15th, 2005. But the forumula is independant of the actual pricing of the car.

I am holding my breath to see what the actual pricing will be. I hear it should around USD $300 - $500.

Jump on that. I paid $500 under invoice and considered it a fantastic deal; especially compared to what every other dealer in the area wanted for an '05 GT Roadster. The deal you're being offered sounds even better than what I paid.

Yes, I think so too...I'll be at the dealer this weekend (July/23/2005) to sign the order form. I am happy with this dealer so far, I'm cautious because you never know what last minute trick they'll try to pull. At first he tried to sell me the car at $1000.00 over invoice, and I kindly explained that I disagreed because the car was no risk and an easy profit for the dealership.

I had a dealer once give me a VERY good quote and then next weekend when I came it to purchase, he was signing a different song and even his manager had "no recolection" of our verbal agreement (which I had written down in his face).

Only thing that REALLY sucks is having to wait 'till November for the D@mn car to arrive. By then it will be snowing and I'll have to put the car in the garage.

Such is life, but I'm soooooo anxious to get my Z (and mods).

UPDATE: I just signed my pre-order form to the tune of $750 over dealer's cost! Now I just have to wait until November I think for my car to arrive.
