Where to buy base 06' 350Z in SoCal?
I'm thinking about getting a base 350Z in SoCal and don't want to spend more than $28K (or less) OTD. Is it possible to find a SoCal dealer who's willing to sell one for around this price?

Getting a base for under 28K is definately possible, depending on the color. PPW and CS you can easily get under 28K OTD. SS and SB is a little harder. I just got a Base CS for 27700 OTD last week.
Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa had a SS Base with aluminum kick plates for 28.4K. I really wanted to buy it, but when I showed up they didn't have the car in stock and wanted me to purchase one with the Aerodynamic kit for $29K. I walked out b/c they told me over the phone that they had the car in stock. I'm pretty sure they never had the car in the first place and said they did just so I would go to their dealership and try to sell me the one they had in stock...very shady business etiquette. The salesman then told me he couldn't get me a SS because the fleet is completely sold-out. That was cool though, because I used their quote, which was in writing, and got even better deals.
I settled on a CS instead because I got a great deal, considering I have to pay LA county taxes instead of OC taxes too. Don't pay anything over 28.5K for a Base with carpets and kick plates. If need more help, PM and I will do what I can.

I'm going to pick mine up in a couple hours. I suggest you go to www.nissanusa.com and search inventories for the car you want. Then, contact a couple different dealerships online about the car you want. I got a bunch of lowball offers that were quickly raised when I called to finalize things. Although, a couple dealers said they would honor their initial quotes. I found one for $26,400+TTL but I ended up going with a Z that had the Aerokit option for $27,000+TTL. This isn't the best price I've heard of but the dealership I'm going to is closer to me than the one with the car for $26,400. Good luck bud, I hope it works out for you.
Now, do I put all my money down or save some of it for a TT kit?

Got my Z last night. I ended up putting 35% down instead of 51%. I'll probably pay more than the minimum each month, though.
The guys down at Nissan of San Bernardino (Brandon and Victor) are great. Not your typical salesmen; a pleasure to deal with.
